The following duoethnography evolved differently than most because in addition to juxtaposing textual interchanges, we created dual visual explorations. As we constructed this part visual essay, part duoethnography, and part shared journal, we were not always sure what we were doing. In fact, we are still exploring the pages that follow, finding ourselves in both the words and images, and searching for questions that are always in flux:

How do teaching, research, and artmaking intersect, intertwine, and interrupt one another?

How does teaching and learning unfold?

How do we make meaningful relationships as students and professors?

How can educational relationships be mutually beneficial?
